What you can send and what you need before the first message.
What can I send with it?
Transactional email: sign-up codes, password resets, receipts, order and booking updates, security alerts. It is not for cold or bulk marketing mail, and we do not allow purchased lists.
Can I send from my own domain?
Yes, and you must. Add your domain, publish the DNS records, and we verify them before you can send from it.
Can I send some emails for free?
Every new account gets 20 free emails valid for 30 days, with no card needed. Daily sending is capped at 50 until you buy your first pack.
Billing
How the prepaid wallet, packs and GST work.
How does billing work?
It is prepaid. Add money to your wallet in rupees, then buy an email pack from it. Each accepted email uses one credit. There is no platform fee and no monthly minimum.
Do credits expire?
Packs are valid for the period shown when you buy them. Wallet money does not expire, but it cannot be withdrawn.
What does GST do to the price?
Prices are shown without GST. 18% GST is added when you add money to your wallet.
Can I get unused wallet money back?
No. The wallet is prepaid, cannot be withdrawn, and unused balance is not refunded when an account is closed. Payments that failed or were charged twice are refunded through Razorpay.
Do I get my credit back if an email fails?
A failure on our side returns the credit. A failure caused by the recipient or the content keeps it, because the message was sent.
Delivery
Bounces, webhooks and what we do about them.
What happens when an email bounces?
Permanent bounces and complaints go on your suppression list and are blocked from then on. You can review the list in the dashboard, and webhooks tell your app as it happens.
Which webhook events do you send?
message.accepted, message.failed, message.bounced and message.complaint. Each delivery is signed, retried with growing delays, and the payload never contains the message body.
Are attachments allowed?
Yes: up to 5 files per message, 2 MB each and 5 MB in total. Each file costs 1 paisa per started 512 KB.
